About nature's touch
Nature’s Touch is a student-run organization that helps children affected with HIV/AIDS. Founded with compassion and social responsibility, Nature’s Touch aims at providing children with not just physical and mental care but also an environment where children could learn, share, and grow. We seek to help children and teenagers aged between 5 and 18, helping them understand their health, build self-confidence, and develop essential life skills.
Through activities such as workshops on health education, group discussions, and social trips, Nature’s Touch aims to promote knowledge about HIV/AIDS, reduce stigma, and enhance social integration. The club organizes city tours, art and crafts, and cultural activities that assist in developing community and empowerment of the individual.
The executive committee and six specialized teams – Human Resources, Finance & External Relations, Communication, Media & Design, Events, and the Executive Committee – work together to plan, organize, and implement all programs effectively.
Since 2023, Nature’s Touch has carried out its mission: bringing care, understanding, and equal opportunities to HIV/AIDS – infected children, and empowering young volunteers to make a difference.
The journey we went through
As the president of Nature’s Touch, I led a team of ten dedicated members to carry out outreach programs for children living with HIV at Rehabilitation Center No.2 in Ba Vi, Hanoi. There, our club conducted health and gender awareness workshops for more than fifty children and provided them with a safe and comfortable environment in which to learn and interact. We also surveyed their medical care regime and usage of medicine in order to comprehend their requirements more intensely. Aside from educating them, we gave them an air conditioner to improve their living conditions and carried out volunteer work, such as cleaning the campus and reorganizing study spaces. Each visit strengthened our bond with the children and reminded us of the power of empathy and long-lasting effort was cemented
My future vision
My experience with Nature’s Touch has shaped my understanding of social responsibility and leadership. Working closely with these children taught me the value of consistency, compassion, and community-oriented transformations. I discovered the significance of small steps that could mean much to others, such as arranging for lessons or mere listening. Moving forward, I aim to expand Nature’s Touch by integrating technology-based healthcare solutions, such as the automated pill dispenser system we designed to assist HIV centers. Through innovation and empathy, I hope to continue building initiatives that bridge science, care, and humanity
