As Vice-President of MedConnect since October 2023, I’ve learned that health outreach is not only about medicine — it’s about showing up for communities that are often left behind. Our non-profit works to raise healthcare awareness among Vietnam’s rural and ethnic groups, and one of the places closest to my heart is Đông Sang, Mộc Châu.

There, together with my teammates, we prepared and donated 80 medical packages to local families. It wasn’t just a handover of supplies; we took the time to speak with residents, understand their needs, and share basic health and nutrition tips to make sure the support went further than a single day. Many families told us this was their first time receiving organized medical assistance.
This experience has shaped how I see leadership and service. It reminded me that even small efforts — a medical kit, a conversation, a bit of guidance — can make a big difference in people’s daily lives. Working with MedConnect in Mộc Châu has strengthened my belief that healthcare access should be a right, not a privilege.
